You Have to Jump Right In!

“Adventure is worthwhile.”

— Aesop.

You must
just go for it…

As we live our busy lives, we continue to always put travel on the back burner. You tend
to always think to yourself ‘I will go there later; I have plenty of time’ or
‘I’ll do it when I have more money’.

These things are a major roadblock to your travel plans in life, as you will put it off to the point till you are no longer able to do it, as age and starting a family can get in the
way. We tend to make excuses for ourselves to why we are not going on these
trips, as the unknown and new experiences
can scare us. That was originally
how I was, as I would make up excuse to not do new experiences, especially
travel.

I thought that I would never get to travel.

Till one day, I just dove in and began . First it was just talking, then it was planning, then I
booked the tickets. Once you put a monetary value on something, it really
inserts itself into your reality. When I began travelling, I was afraid of the unknown,
what I had not experienced. I had already come this far, so why not try as many
new things as possible.

Once I had done this, I had just gone for it, to just let go of your current ideas of what’s in your comfort zone, you will not only grow as a person, but you will never want to go back.

Explore the Bay 1: Mission Peak!

Its been a while…

Since I have hiked up such a steep incline. I definitely had to catch my breath several times hiking up to the top of Mission Peak. It took me about 2 hours going up and an hour coming down. Mission Peak offers some wonder sights of the Bay Area from the height of 2,516 feet.

Overlooking the Bay at Mission Peak Summit

The experience of being able to hike to the top of mountains, to be one with nature is something that look forward to. I plan to hike all of the major mountains within the bay area, with my end goal being some of Europe’s and Asia’s great mountains.

Welcome to My Travel Blog!

Aaron’s Adventure in Sicily

Hello Everyone!

My name is Aaron, and welcome to my travel blog.

I would like to use this blog to express myself and talk about my travel adventures.

They say travelling changes you as a person, it has so many beneficial effects on people that you might not even realize.  Here are some of the positive changes and benefits of travelling!

DETACH FROM YOUR NORMAL LIFE AND EXPERIENCE THE NOW

Don’t let your troubles from home interfere with your experiences. Rember to experience the sights around you, to not let it be detracted by always taking photos, as you can miss out on the real moments. When technology and problems back home run your life, you can’t have a meaningful experience.

REFRESH YOURSELF FROM YOUR EVERYDAY LIFE

Take a deep breath, experience the nature all around you, and relax. With life getting ever more stressful, being able to take a breather can really calm the nerves. We get into repetition and can be a drain on your mental health. Using the powers of the new environment around you, you’ll feel refreshed when you return home.

GET OUT OF YOUR COMFORT ZONE

The real adventure starts when you can get out your comfort zone when you travel! It can be baby steps life going to a place you would have never gone before, to trying new foods. By going to the places less traveled, you are opening yourself up to the brand new. Pay attention to the details and you will end up finding yourself in ways you wouldn’t be able to at home. Being able to learn from new cultures, make new friends, and always seek new experiences.

EXPERIENCE THAT CHANGE YOUR LIFE

When you travel and experience another living culture, you are exposing yourself to the unknown. This provides you with the opportunity to change your current perspectives and perceiving things in a different way. With this newfound perspective, you can use it to better your understanding of those around you, always push yourself forward, never backwards.
